I've been using 4K Downloader a lot lately just to have copies of videos to show my animation classes. It works flawlessly, super super handy app. It is also very quick and supports all the major platforms. Having videos downloaded and local allows me to show them to my classes from anywhere, no matter the internet access situation and also allows me to more easily scrub through them, screenshot them, and make them part of my lectures. The ability to embed subtitles is also greatly appreciated. Having the video files also allows me to categorize and keep them organized with all my other lecture media. I put the video examples in each class folder that I keep in a hierarchy for each class. Having the video files also allows me to excerpt videos much more easily, which is a huge deal when integrating them into your classes. Overall it's the best app of it's kind that I've used.
